Welcoming a new baby into your family is such a fleeting and beautiful season — one filled with quiet moments, changing rhythms, and so much love. As a Kitchener-Waterloo newborn photographer, my sessions are designed to gently preserve this chapter in an honest and heartfelt way, documenting the connection and emotion that make these early days so meaningful. Whether your session takes place in your home or in a cozy natural light studio, the experience is meant to feel calm, relaxed, and true to your family.
My approach to newborn photography is relaxed, baby-led, and lifestyle inspired. Rather than focusing on stiff poses or perfection, I gently guide sessions in a natural way while leaving space for genuine connection and emotion to unfold. There’s plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, diaper changes, and simply settling into the moment together. My goal is to create timeless images that feel soft, meaningful, and true to this season of life.

Whether your session takes place in-home or in a natural light studio, I’ll softly guide you while also allowing space for genuine connection and emotion to unfold naturally. My goal is for the experience to feel relaxed, meaningful, and true to this season of life.
Here are a few common questions for newborn sessions
FAQ
When should I book my newborn session?
Most families book during their second or third trimester. We’ll reserve a tentative date based on your due date and finalize once baby arrives.
When is the ideal time for a newborn session?
The first 7–14 days are ideal if you’d love those fresh, sleepy newborn images. However, lifestyle newborn sessions are very flexible.. Since we're capturing connection over posed images, sessions at 2 -8 weeks are just as meaningful.
What if my baby arrives early or late?
No worries! Newborn dates are flexible and can be adjusted as needed.
Can siblings be included?
Absolutely. Immediate family members are always welcome to participate.
Should we choose an in-home or studio session?
Both options offer a relaxed lifestyle approach. In-home sessions feel personal and intimate, while studio sessions provide beautiful natural light and a clean, timeless setting.
What if my baby is fussy?
Newborn sessions are baby-led. We allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, diaper changes, and soothing breaks.
