There’s no pressure for perfectly posed smiles or children to sit still—in fact, I encourage movement, play, cuddles, and genuine interaction. I’ll gently guide you throughout the session while leaving plenty of space for authentic moments to unfold naturally. A $200 retainer and signed contract are required to reserve your session date

It’s time for photos! I’ll gently guide you throughout the session so you can relax and enjoy the experience. Your remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

When should we book our family session?
I recommend booking 2–3 months in advance, especially for spring and fall dates. If you’re hoping for a specific season or weekend, booking early is always best.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
Don’t worry—that’s completely normal! My sessions are relaxed and child-led, with plenty of movement, play, and breaks. Some of the most meaningful images come from embracing your family’s unique dynamic rather than expecting perfect poses.
What should we wear?
Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a styling guide filled with tips on choosing outfits that photograph beautifully.
Where do sessions take place?
Most family sessions take place outdoors during golden hour at beautiful locations throughout Kitchener, Waterloo and the surrounding area. In-home and studio sessions are also available for families looking for a different feel.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
If the weather isn’t ideal, we’ll simply reschedule your session for the next available date at no additional cost.
Do you pose us?
Not in the traditional sense. I’ll gently guide you with prompts and natural direction while encouraging genuine interaction. The result is a gallery that feels authentic, relaxed, and full of real connection rather than stiff, perfectly posed smiles.
